Israeli Group Dubs Oprah Winfrey’s Voice To Make Her Say “Kill Muslims”

Oprah Winfrey, Stewie from Family Guy, and characters from Game of Thrones all urge viewers to “kill Muslims” in a dubbed-over video released by an Israeli group.

The Israel Law Centre put the words into the mouths of prominent figures on US television as part of a campaign it is launching against Palestinian broadcasters.

The video dubs over television hosts like Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Ellen DeGeneres and makes it appear as if they are exhorting violence against Muslims.

Spokesmen for Oprah and Scott Pelley, a US news anchor who appears in the video, did not respond to requests for comment on their images being used in this way.

The Israel Law Centre describes itself as being “at the forefront of fighting terrorism and safeguarding Jewish rights worldwide”.

It files lawsuits and mounts publicity campaigns against what it says are terror groups and enablers of terrorism.

Its latest campaign is aimed at the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), the official broadcaster of the Palestinian Authority.

Palestinian television regularly airs incitements to violence against Israelis and Israel argues that television is fueling the current wave of stabbing attacks by young Palestinians.

However, some of the clips selected as illustrative by the Israel Law Centre appear to be from al-Aqsa TV, a channel run by Hamas which is separate from the PBC.

The Israel Law Centre says it is planning to file a lawsuit against two PBC executives at the International Criminal Court.

Around 28 Israelis and and 170 Palestinians have been killed in the latest violence since the beginning of October. Around two-thirds of the Palestinians were killed while trying to attack Israeli troops or civilians, according to the Israeli military.
