Kimberly Goldman Runs Over Husband And Friends After Divorce, Then Jumps Off Bridge To Commit Suicide

A woman ran over her estranged husband and two of his friends before speeding off to a nearby bridge where she jumped to her death, police said.

On Monday morning, Dr. Brian Halevie-Goldman

emerged from a court hearing at the Family Law Center in Martinez, California, with two people when his wife, 60-year-old Kimberly Goldman, accelerated and hit all three, police said.

Goldman then reversed and hit one of the people – the woman who was her husband’s lawyer – a second time, before police believe she drove to the Benicia Bridge and jumped.

The three hit-and-run victims were taken to a local hospital where they were treated for moderate injuries.

Authorities said the couple met in court for their divorce proceedings, and Goldman waited for her husband to emerge before she ran them over at the intersection of Court and Main Street, ABC reported.

She reversed and struck one woman a second time, and all three victims were sent to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Witness Christina Parson, 30, who was pushing her friend’s baby stroller across a nearby crosswalk when the collision happened, said there was no question about the woman’s intent.

‘It was deliberate. You can tell it was,’ said Parson. ‘An officer came running out of the courthouse, and I screamed for him to get help.’

Bystanders tried to stop Goldman by breaking the driver-side window, but she sped off.

Wilfredo Manuntag told CBS she also hit his car at one point with such force that it caused a three-car pileup.

About 20 minutes later, police received a report of a woman who jumped off the Benicia Bridge, and her body was recovered in the waters below by the US Coast Guard.

Her vehicle, which matched the description of the car in the hit and run, was left on the bridge near where the woman jumped, said Eric Ghisletta of the Martinez police.

‘Based on all indications, it appears it could be the same woman,’ he said.
