At least one home was leveled and a couple of others damaged in Northwest Indiana following an explosion that triggered a fire, CBS Chicago affiliate WBBM reports.
Reports of injuries from the Lowell, Ind., explosion were not immediately available. First responders were on the scene.
Lowell is a rural area, bounded by State Road 2, Grant and State Road 55.
