The city Medical Examiner’s Office officially ruled Wednesday that thirty-three year-old swimsuit designer Sylvie Cachay was murdered by strangulation and drowning at the Soho House earlier this month. Her ex-boyfriend Nick Brooks has already been charged with attempted murder and strangulation in connection with her death. Twenty-four year-old Brooks told cops Cachay was alive when he left to get some dinner. He was seen on video repeatedly entering and leaving the room the night of her death
