A semi hauling beer crashed at I-25 and I-70 in Denver Wednesday evening. The truck crashed on the eastbound I-70 ramp to northbound I-25.
Police closed I-25 at I-70 because beer fell from the semi onto I-25 below. They reopened the highway sometime after 6:30 p.m., but the left lane on the southbound side was blocked.
Beer was piled up in the express lanes in the center of I-25. The truck was on its side on the on ramp high above I-25.
FOX31 Denver’s Julie Hayden said she saw a beer truck hanging off the I-70 ramp over I-25.
Police said there were no injuries. A front end loader was brought in to scoop up the pile of spilled beer debris from the highway.
A damage assessment on the bridge was also taking place.
